Here is an article I found interesting. In the years I have been training our children, very often I find that the less formal the education is, the better. There are exceptions to this, however, especially in the younger years, children need parent led play, books, exploration, and lots of love! I'm trying to take life a little slower. I don't want to be so busy, that I miss out on the important things! Today while the big guys (and one little guy, too) worked on our well, we had a picnic a few feet away. It was nice just to be near my husband, and spend time together as a family. We took bites to the workers when they had a free hand. We gathered eggs, enjoyed wagon rides, and played in the sand a bit too. I had so much I could do inside, but do you know... It's still here waiting. My time was well spent!
